Wonder what this young man's story is and if his 40 time is accurate. That is blazing speed.

That time is not accurate, because it's not humanly possible. But then again, almost no one else's 40 time is accurate either, and his is one of the most impressive inaccurate 40 times I've ever seen.

Yet, if we have a WR commit to us that runs a 4.6 we claim he is slow. Just curious, how is a 4.22 not humanly possible?

To my knowledge, no one has run an electronically-timed 40 that fast, including elite NFL and Olympic athletes. It might be done someday, but I highly doubt a high school football player in Fort Worth did it without it receiving all kinds of attention.

Deion Sanders ran a 4.21 40 at the NFL Combine in 1989.

Darrell Green was reported to have run a 4.09 40 at one of Washington's training camps

Bo Jackson was reported to have run a 4.12 40

None electronically timed.

EDIT: Toward the bottom of this Wikipedia entry are the NFL Combine Records since electronically-timed 40s were implemented: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/40-yard_dash
