The RiverHawks ended the year 7-5, the best record for an NSU team since 2000 when they went to the Division II playoffs.

Evans had praise for his crew.

“I’m really proud of this group and even though we had some great success, I think with what we’ve got coming back, I’m really looking forward to the 2012 season.”

Coach Evans is a winner! Glad to see coach Evans is having success in Oklahoma. Coach Evans was a great recruiter for UNT. It would have been nice to see what he could have done with a new 78 Million stadium as recruiting tool!!
