Probably the nastiest hit I have seen since Jonas Buckles and Craig Jones were roaming the field.

Best NT hit I ever saw was Jonas Buckles against NMSU at Fouts. I think it was their tight end that wandered over the middle, the QB, Pierce, hung him out to dry, and Buckles lit him up. Miss Jones and Buckles.

Was it not a clothesline? I couldn't tell, even from the replay...but it looked like he hit him straight in the facemask. How did we not get a 15 yard penalty for it?

because the refs were too busy saying 'oooooo' with the rest of the crowd to throw the flag

I've haven't seen this kind of hitting from the DB's and special teams since the days of Buckles and Jones. I look forward to this continuing this next season.
