Learn how to shoot?

I was just wondering if this Mean Green BB team learned how to shoot during camp training? Shooting percentages are just awful last couple of games.

They just need to put themselves in better positions to shoot. It's part of being young and they will figure it out over time.

A lot of over athletic guys don't really have good or great jumpshots. As they make it to the next levels and defenses get tougher to play against it is something a lot of them have to develop and learn over time because they can't solely rely on their athleticism anymore. I'm confident our kids will develop these things as time goes by....yes they'll improve during the season but this may be a 1-2 year process before it becomes a true well oiled machine. Patience is critical here I believe.

I think it's decision making. A lot of times I've seen players get set up, and then take a shot with a solid 30 seconds left on the clock. They're usually foreced shots. I'd like to see Jones slow down the game and find the open man in the paint rather than taking a long jumper.

Just my thoughts based on the two games that I've seen.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Not sure where this comes from, be it the team or our SID dept, but according to this:Jones Looking To Match White(28 points in 2007) Against Texas .

Who knows, maybe things will turn around in this game?
