Liike in sales, the worst thing they could say to us is...no. None of this re-alignment business is over till its over.

We now have a few on this board waving the white flag wanting to "dummy down" our program to join some old SLC foes. Talk about a slow, painful death...

(Folks, no one on one of these message boards are going to have any influence in any of this; it's all about conference school presidents and AD's).

San Diego State leaving MWC soon? http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2011/nov/26/sdsu-big-east-talks-turn-serious/

just asking, but if BCS drops all bowl games when present contract expires [i think in 2013], eliminates AQ conferences, and just matches #1&#2 in a nonbowl setting, such as Jerryworld, why would anyone west of the Mississipi move to Big East? if this does indeed happen, and apparently there are serious discussons within the BCS to do so, then the currunet BCS bowls would just revert back to their pre BCS conference ties. personally, all i want before i die is NT in a regional conference/western division, and don't care if its a mixture of WAC,CUSA, and Belt schools. just an old man's opinion.

Was watching an ESPN segment on TV and the three commentators (can't recall their names) were talking about the bowl games, AQ, BCS, and all concluded that the Big East should not be an AQ conference. Even before the changes taking place and certainly not after the conferences changes. It's all about the major college's brand names, tradition, etc. That's who should be in the BCS bowls. Period.
