After our worst defeat in several years, we travel to "The Hump" -- home of the #24 ranked Bulldogs. Not sure what to say about this one other than keep your expectations low.

Well yes, but we also made UTA looked like they were a top 10 team

Dave Odom, the former Wake Forest coach, said once that in a 30 gave season you'll have five games where you play better than you are...and five games where you are worse. The other 20 are more representative of how good/bad you are.

I suspect that was one of our bad five. I HOPE so anyways.

I can't help but wonder if Chris Jones might serve us best at the 2. He is a fantastic, and reliable scorer... probably the best we have right now.

Looking a lot more confident and fluid now.

CJ is so damn good. I like him as a scoring point guard. Problem is that when he tires we lose all aggressiveness going to the basket.

Why are Holmon and Robinson out?

Holmen was apparently sick for UTA, but played anyway. Maybe he's still ill?

Robinson being out sucks. I'd love to see him get some time on the floor against MSU's posts.

Very questionable officials IMO, not that it matters a lot.

They are a better team right now.. no doubt... but the officials have given all but one close calls to Miss. State.

That would be a very ugly matchup at this point in time. Really wish we coulda redshirted him.

Homlen suffered a concussion vs UTA. Made the trip today , but won't play

I talked to him threat after thanksgiving and I never heard that....

Robinson can also still be redshirted...

I'm just going by what he tweeted. Maybe he did it at practice and not UTA , not sure on that

He played minutes against St. Gregory, which wasn't an exhibition. Are redshirt rules different in college Bball?

I could be wrong.... But from what I have seen you can play so many games b4 being redshirted... It is a certain date, but I could be wrong. The date may have past though I thought it was in December.

Cannot redshirt unless injury related if you have played one second.

But you can receive a "medical"redshirt which is not to difficult to obtain. Even for a simple finger sprain

.
