ORU - 70

NT - 60

Final

We managed to hold Oral Roberts to a (thus far) season low in scoring. Still, turnovers killed us.

Coach K is doing a good job in getting this team to play some good defense.

Good game, just ran out of gas in the second half against a better team. This ORU team has almost the same players as does NT that played last year with ORU winning 120-87. Another great effort game, this NT team has not gotten it's offense rolling yet but the defense is going to keep them in games.

ORU was a better team and #15 gave us fits all day even with 3 fouls the 2nd half. The girls kind of squandered some opportunities early in the 2nd half and then started to play uptight. At the point ORU was going on a run we couldn’t buy a basket. Not bad shot selection, just couldn’t get anything fall.

I really like coach Aston.

Well, the loss is a little disappointing because we were leading at the half, but watching the game it was obvious that Oral Roberts was the more talented team. They had one player, #15, that just had unbelievable body control for a women's player. They were faster, and taller.

Oral Roberts could be better than any team in the SBC, even MTSU or UALR. They beat Wisconsin by 17 a few days ago in Wisconsin. This team is heading in the right direction, and that is obvious, only three games in.

Aston has this team playing good defense. Kevi Luper, who is leading the nation in scoring for the second year in a row by averaging 31 a game so far coming in, fouled out with 22.

You can tell this program has a great future. .
