They're going to be motivated because they're looking at staying alive for the postseason, and they know we'll be coming for them to prove that Bowen is an idiot. I get the feeling it's going to be a competitive game. I'd love to see a blowout, but they REALLY play well at home. They're a different team at Apogee. Tops win by 10. That's all I got.

Don't know that I would laugh at this prediction... I think the Mean Green will put together a better showing...maybe even win, but based on past performance, their resume is better for this season.

but, that's why they play the games. you never know.

Guys let's cut the crap here, okay. WKU has won five in a row in the Sun Belt. Again, Belt is Belt.

Need I remind you all that FCS Indiana State took WKU apart 44-16 at WKU earlier in the year?

I don't care how "good" WKU looked while LSU ran a scrimmage offense at them all night. Belt is still Belt. And, if Indiana State can run roughshod over WKU at their own house, we can surely do it here.

WKU by 10 my ass. Us by 10 and probably 20. Hell, the Sycamores beat 'em by 28!

They better sack up, too, because Mr. Three DWIs will hear it from our student section.

Hey, makes sense that their DC would want to be as close to the club level area as possible since they serve alcohol there!! :P

Looks to me like Lance is one of those defensive coordinators who coaches from the field. So, he'll be within earshot of the student section.:

I'll disappointed if our creative UNT students don't come up with some good signs as well.

Throw ZZ Top's "Driving While Blind" and George Thorogood's "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" over the P.A. as well.

      😂 I hate revisiting the records and specific games of that era cause it was all such a train wreck. Still should be discussed from time to time when some of our fanbase gets restless with wanting to take the next step as a program. Trying to cement ourselves as a perineal Top 50 program is tough but we’re on the right track. I remember years back @TheTastyGreek putting into perspective how tough achieving a Top 25 ranking in hoops was relative to FBS football back in the day. Too lazy to go dig that up but it really highlighted how difficult it is generally speaking and then layer in what you’re describing above - what UNT has had to overcome from a performance and program perception standpoint.

      I’ll never understand the mental gymnastics some on here do to justify this underperformance? We fired Seth after a Conference USA title game appearance- justifiably - so we would get someone to take the NEXT step that was elusive for his regime. Now we’ve got people making excuses for wasting the first year of Morris’ tenure by mis-reading the personnel that he judged to be “AAC title contenders” and then flopping. Didn’t use the portal well enough to beef up glaring deficiencies. Then brings back the worst, yet somehow highest compensated G5 DC in America for year 2 which led to an inevitable firing that even the most casual of football fans could see coming from a mile away before the season even started. The 2nd year performance was predictable as well, but extra dissapointing given the soft schedule 5-1 start. To end up 6-6 is nearly unforgivable. We’d better win this upcoming Bowl game.
