weekday games do suck...but, i've been watching them...nothing else on...they are getting the exposure that the sun belt isn't getting. granted, the sbelt is higher rated, but they aren't on tv near as much.

The MAC seems to have a really nice TV deal but you'll get that if you're willing to put your games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I'll definitely take that because the exposure would be of tremendous benefit in my opinion.

Here are the only two recent ones I found:

THURSDAY Oct 30, 2003 TROY STATE W 21-0 11,128 Attendance

TUESDAY Oct 04, 2005 TROY L 10-13 17,644 Attendance

Really not that bad considering our avg attendance back then..

I am feeling different today. I think you preserve the college football experience which is Saturday afternoon evening and win for recognition. We need buts in seats and as many rituals as we can establish. It would also have an effect on us out of towners who would find it more challenging to drive or fly back for a game.

In 2003 we averaged 18,694 so the 11k was the lowest by about 5,000.

In 2005 we averaged 16,446 so the 17k helped attendance. However that year there was a game attended by roughly 7,000 right after Thanksgiving. So that skewed it a bit.

I think I would be in favor of one a year just for the exposure, but no more than that.

In fairness, the 2003 game was a rainy day in addition to a Thursday night.
