At home however Troy is 2-1 with wins over 2-6, 1-3 Middle Tennessee State and 1-8, 1-5 Alabama Birmingham in squeakers while falling by 28 to 2-7, 1-4 Louisiana-Monroe. Last year the Trojans won 41-35 in Texas against the Mean Green while two seasons ago Troy smashed North Texas 50-26. With Troy playing so badly this year in whole and at home not being very good either I think you have to take a stab with the Mean Green on this one.

North Texas was slaughtered 37-14 two weeks ago during their last game at 7-2, 5-0 Arkansas State while Troy was slammed at 3-6 Navy 42-14 last weekend.

Being beat 37-14 by a 7-2 team is a slaughter, but being beat 42-14 by a 3-6 team is only a slam???
