I'll add my observations although it is difficult to learn much from one game especially an exhibition game.

Negatives:

1. Bad shooting by most of the team

2. No great coming out performances by any of the newcomers

3. Interior defense was not good, but got better in the second half

4. Way too much outside shooting when playing an outclassed opponent

5. So so performance by Hogans

6. Thought Walton took too many shoots

Positives:

1. This club is going to be super deep

2. Edwards looked like a completely different player, he was the best of the bigs

3. Jones is as I predicted, going to be very very good as is Jason Williams

4. Neko is a lot more than just a tall body, can move

5. Norris looked much better than I would have guessed, fast and looks like he could be the best assist guy

6. Saw a comment about redshirting Robinson, seldom done these days; but this guy can contribute, he looks like he almost gets points and rebounds by accident

7. If Holmen can play like this, watch out

8, Not sure this is going to be the best team ever at NT, but I am willing to bet: the second team is the best in NT history

I'll reserve judgement on Chris Jones right now, but I think his decision making and raw talent is equal to that of Jacob Holmen as a freshmen. Just in a slightly smaller package. Looked like he was forcing a lot of possessions, but created very nicely a couple of times at the beginning. I really get the feeling he wanted this to be the Chris Jones show, and that would have been okay with me, had he hit a few more shots. But, I get the feeling he normally makes them in practice.

Niko looked pretty damn good around the basket and is supposed to have a good outside touch, think he only got one 3pt att.

Jordan, looked like he should have had a few more points, but didn't try to do anything above his ability.

I felt real comfortable with Trey Norris at 1 and Chris at 2. Maybe it is because Trey is more like Josh White. Trey seems like a natural pass first point.

Of course Hogans was getting doubled, Alonzo had some nice plays around the basket and Alzee was able to make some beautiful slices a couple of times.

Robinson needs some arms. He looks like he needs to grow into the frame.

Team defense: perimeter looked good playing the passing lanes. Real long and active arms. Quickness. Looked good. Interior needs work. Seemed to lose a couple of guys on the baseline when rotating. Will be very nice to get some Tony Mitchell Defense down low.

One more thought:

Not many guys drawing fouls driving. Maybe because it's just an exhibition? Maybe because we aren't a great free throw shooting team? I dunno. Something to watch going forward I guess.

Glad for the win. To point out the obvious the chemistry seemed to be lacking especially in the first quarter. But the D did pretty well, I can't remember the last time I've seen that many balls tipped away.

An extra set. Nothing much to it, sir. Sounds like they're using them for exhibition because they don't have the new ones yet or they're saving them for the regular season.

Yes those are the new jerseys, now i know yall are all old and cant see well but there was a nike swoosh on the shorts and the jerseys actually fit the players. Now the shorts on the other hand were long but not everyone likes wearing shorts above the knee...

My only question would be the lack of a Nike swoosh on the jersey. Since the stripping matched up i would say they would be the new uniforms unless it is indeed an extra or set or maybe even a practice set. Seems strange not to have the swoosh on the jersey or the names on the back. Also they seemed to look different then the white jerseys from the team picture.

Those aren't the new jerseys

They were Nike, I saw the swoosh on the shorts. I just don't like the style of the shorts. I've seen them before, just on other teams (ark state maybe) and hated them.
