Update on Jarrian Roberts

When I had heard that we dug into an a 1A and pulled out a linebacker for this next season's recruiting class....I was a bit taken back. I have been pulling for Jarrian Roberts all year and want him to feel like when he is standing next to 3A, 4A and 5A players in that recruiting class that he can measure up to any one of them.

This year has been a phenomenal one for him.....plain and simple. This kid is a beast and I have zero doubts that he will come out and prove to be one of the greatest pickups of the recruiting class.

Jarrian weighs in at 6'2 and 220 lbs. His frame has every indication that he can and will be at 240 lbs by the time he plays. Weight training will turn him into a specimen.

In 7 games Jarrian has posted 96 tackles (68 solo) and blocked 3 FGs.

I for one cannot wait to see him wear some green and focus on 1 sport vs. the 4 he is currently involved in!

Put Mr. Roberts in a true weight training program, and he could easily add 20-25lbs. of muscle, and I would expect him to grow another inch or two. He could end up a D-End or an Alabama sized LB.
