Fixed.

Then the BE tries something else. They are determined to survive, so they will figure it out.

It has been written that according to "sources" the invitations to SMU and UH are conditional on Boise accepting. The whole purpose of inviting them, according to "sources", is to create a western division for Boise.

true or not, who knows.

They were offered football-only memberships so that they wouldn't have to travel their teams in other sports such a great distance. Navy was the exception. Thay wanted to keep their olympic sports teams in the Patriot League with Army.

I believe that both the WAC and the West Coast AC have offered AFA and Boise membership for their other teams. If they insisted on all sports then I'd guess that they'd be accommodated.

then we may have a problem, as Boise won't go without a travel partner, and AFC is having 2nd thoughts.

Aren't the invites conditional?

Big East offered conditional invites to UCF, Houston, SMU based on Boise accepting a football only bid.

Boise won't come without a western division.

The big wrench in all of this is now that Missouri is gone will the Big 12 go get BYU and Boise? That could renegotiate the entire plan for SMU, UCF and Houston and I don't think would be good for us. What if Big 12 goes for Louisville and Cincy. Could be another wrench. We may not know what is going on with us for awhile. Just win 3 and go bowling!
