The reason is because they can. They have nothing to fear from UNT. No Alumni in high places. No huge alumni support, period. Just another small program for the NCAA to step on because we don't contribute huge money to their greedy little pocket. The anti-trust suit can't come soon enough.

Make no mistake, if there isn't a North at the beginning of our name, this thing was done a month ago and Patton is on the floor. Someone at some point should stand up to these sorry bastards.

I have zero hope of you know who obtaining his waiver, either.

The NCAA are straight **** suckers.

Maybe no friends in high places, but we can sure look in the classified section of Soldiers of Fortune magazine and hire a mercenary or 2. :sword:

Wouldn't you like to get inside the brains of these NCAA einsteins for a minute to see how their minds function?

John Underwood granted eligibilty today : ESPN.

Something is seriously wrong w/ UNT if Franklin doesn't get same treatment

If Patton returns next year & T Mitch sticks around for year 2 , imagine this lineup we could throw out on the floor :

1/ Alzee @ 6'4

2 / JP @ 6'7

3 / Jordan @ 6'6

4 / T Mitch 6 ' 9

5 / Odoh 6 ' 10

Upon seeing the Underwood go through there is serious issues with our compliance staff if Franklin is not deemed eligible, unless it is academics again. NCAA allows a kid to transfer from Mizzou to Fullerton for family that lives in Phoenix??

We filed paperwork last week and the NCAA needed something more so we re-sent it again on Friday. Will hear something this week , but probably not until Thursday(just a guess). I'd say the chances are greater than 50% that he gets the waiver

So what are the chances he sticks around and plays next year?

I would love to see him finish off his senior year with us next year along with T-Mich back from a final year run....

(We would have a lot of seniors in that class as well....)

It's my understanding he would have to graduate then attend post grad classes if he wanted to stick around to play. If that happens & T Mitch is back you're right , we could make a nice little run

Well if the rumors are true that Pye would be a walk on then that would leave us with another scholarship next year to fill and put another big along side Odah. (Assuming Mitchel would stay another year...) If not then I guess we would have 2 more scholarships to fill for the 2012-2012 season...
