I think that it's just a dig at the WAC who seems to be searching for anyone that can help sustain their football program.

I don't understand the joy of continually kicking someone when they are down. I don't want to join them but I can feel their pain.

They will still be a Division I conference they just won't be an FBS conference as it now stands.
