Post season accolades continue for three of the incoming MEAN GREEN softball players. Junior College transfers, Mandy Hacker (P), and outfielder Stephanie Cranmer were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American 1st Team.

The week prior, Hacker and Cranmer were named to the National Junior College Athletic Association 1st Team.

Catcher, Sonia Medina was also named to the NFCA NJCAA II, All-American 1st team....

We are scheduled to play in a tournament at the University of Texas at San Antonio, in February, as well as play a doubleheader against #3 ranked, and Women's College World Series participant, the University of Texas.

That is as far south as we will travel for the 2004 spring season. We will also play a fall scrimmage in Houston in October. Check out our schedule online at http://www.unt.edu, and go to the softball web page.
