The most recent set of scores, released in May, found 17 of 120 teams in the top-level Football Bowl Subdivision beneath that mark, though many barely so. Among them: bowl qualifiers Maryland (922) and North Carolina State (929) in the Atlantic Coast Conference, Louisville (908) in the Big East, Michigan (928) in the Big Ten, Southern Mississippi (928) and Tulsa (927) in Conference USA, Texas-El Paso (918) in the Western Athletic and now-independent Brigham Young (929).

UTEP is not in the WAC. Nice research by USA Today.
