The yearly clash between the Mean Green and Ragin' Cajuns pits two teams against each other with angry adjectives.

Are there any other teams in the FBS with adjectives in their names that express similar antisocial sentiments?

Fighting Irish/Illini

Does "Thundering" count?

But I think you've hit upon something . . . Which sounds more enticing? Red River Rivalry (since they can no longer call it "Shootout") . . . some football game (since they can no longer call it "Cocktail Party") . . . or Angry Adjective Bowl? ESPN ought to market the snot out of it.

I think that the Fighting Irish and Thundering Herd would play each other in a Present Participle Bowl.

A "terrorist tirade?" Whoops! Politically incorrect use of wordage. I failed that part of the course in my resettlement camp.

Also tried to sneak a Hostess Twinky into my stalag and got 22 lashes for that. :sword:

Hmmm . . . we're not admitting adjectival participles? This is a tight ship being run around here.

EDIT: Wait a minute . . . "Ragin'" is a participle as well.
