Nope. But in fairness, the weather has been terrible--cold and rainy. And their students are definitely worse than ours when it comes to making it out for bad weather games.

But the team sure does look tough. I hope nobody had them penciled in as a gimme win on our schedule next week.

Arkansas State looked great at times. Their QB knows how to mange a game as seen in the 3rd and 4th qtr. Not to mention he knows how to scramble really...really well.

FIU seems to have gone backward from earlier in the year. With FIU, ASU and ULL all at the top of the league, it appears to me that the Belt is far from tough this year.

NT has improved much more than FIU and although they got trounced in the fourth quarter by ULL almost exactly like FIU did against ASU; if NT had any kind of offense they could be among the leaders in this conference. I am certainly not buying it is going to take a major rebuild to be among the best of the Belt.

Let's face it, 4 or 5 wins is better than we have done in a long, long time. I'd call that making better use of what you have.

The FIU team that beat us, Louisville and UCF just doesn't exist anymore...

I thought they had a great chance for double digit wins and were easily the favorites in the Belt...

I hope none of you have the game as a win. Good job on the win against Indiana this year by the way. We should have had them last year. Even though you guys usually give us a good scare in Denton, I think will take care of business in Jonesboro on the 29th. I'd like to see yalls program back up to the North Texas of the early belt so as a conference we'd be stronger across the board.

As for last nights game, i was pleased with the outcome but not our crowd. If the game had been a day earlier, we would have had 20k, but the cold, wind, and rain all day kept alot at home to watch the game.

McCarney keeps hinting at "bad talent" to save his own ass. If we don't win, it's the talent. If we do win, it's the coaching. It was a built-in excuse from the beginning.

If yes, then you are already aware of the growing pains, right?

If no, you can say a million "I told you so's".

I guess I just want to see the folks who are saying things like this put their butt on the record.
