We need them to stay. IF they leave then the big east will be poached by the big 12 and it is likely that not as many or no CUSA/MWC spots will open. But who knows these days.

They can apply all they want, didn't the SEC say they weren't ready to invite them yet?

I believe the SEC said that but they are at 13 and would even them out and Missouri is an AAU. Can't see why they won't get the invite. Unless Baylor starts crying again.

Alabama has said that they would vote for Missouri to join if they would play in the SEC East. This would clear up a lot of the current problems with adding missouri. It is looking like this is going to happen. How this will effect the Big East I don't know. The Big East voted to double their exit fee today so that would be some pretty crappy timing by them.

Not necessarily. I think that the BE is looking to stay alive and will reload with any teams that they can scrounge up to do so. This will likely mean more openings that we can fill. I don't see them completely folding despite the rest of the college football conferences trying so hard.
