Correct. Nothing is expected tomorrow due to bball media day (but you never know). As a Mustang fan, I and many Mustangs wish you the best of luck. Please just let SMU back into CUSA when the BE dies and we're homeless!

I also think La. Tech would be a good addition and feel for them a little bit because I know that Tulane will be a thorn in their side similar to what SMU was for us.

I'm glad you brought up Tulane. I can't figure out exactly what it is Tulane has to offer. Their awful in every sport and no one in New Orleans, much less Louisiana, is interested in watching them play in person or on TV. I caught the first part of their blowout 44-7 loss to a horrible 3-3 UTEP team on CBSSN last Saturday. The Superdome was almost completely empty and eerily silent. I've seen more people at a DART bus stop.

And now their coach has resigned: Bob Toledo resigns at Tulane

There was an article in the DMN today saying even if Missouri left for the SEC that the Big 12 would probably only add one (Louisville) to stay at 10.

I haven't read the article you referenced, but I agree with the opinion. DeLoss Dodds, and to a lesser extent, Mack Brown and Bob Stoops have grown tired of the conference championship game and the impact a loss there has on their chances at a BCS game. Dodds has been quoted as saying something similar to that many times. But, then again, Dodds was quoted as saying he'd never accept TCU into the Big XII too - I guess we know how that turned out?

Official attendance was listed as 16,690. Not too good, but not nearly as bad as the attendance out in Jonesboro tonight. Of course, that's going to seem like a whole lot less in a huge place like the Superdome. But aren't they supposed to be building a new stadium of their own?

At any rate, Tulane has had some very good teams. Back in the 90's, when they had Tommy Bowden, they went undefeated and finished ranked #7 in the nation. They've been terrible recently, but it looks like they're going to get a new coach.

Maybe they had SMU's ticket counter? Seriously, if their actual attendance was anything close to 17K they must have all been sitting directly behind the main camera. I vaguely recall some of that success you mentioned...probably much like the Tulane faithful could vaguely recall the Mean Green success we had several years ago.

What is it about Methodist schools and their sleazy attendance counting for heaven's sake?

I'm a member of Couts Methodist Church, Weatherford, Texas, and can say that.
