Thoughts anyone?

Well I've always been a big JKidd fan and I will take the Nets in six.

Just a hunch and I don't feel safe enough to put a lot of money on it, but I wouldn't feel that safe with the Spurs either.

The Nets can run and play defense, but they are not good shooting. However, the Spurs turn the ball over and can't shoot free throws. So I think the difference comes down the Jason Kidd playing the series of his life, and Tony Parker may have a few moments or games where he shines, but JKidd will dominate him for the most part. I have heard Bruce Bowen will be put on Kidd, and think of the problems he had with Van Exel. Bowen was able to frustrate Kobe because Kobe plays off the ball and does not have the lateral quickness (espcially with the ball) of Kidd or Nick.

The Nets have a real shot, but I like SA in seven. Too much Duncan I think.

This should be a wonderful series though.

Big game from the Spurs. Duncan was great and he got great support from his supporting cast.

Kidd will definitely shoot better next go round.

Well, I don't know who will win, but I really hope the Spurs do. The Admiral is one of the rare class acts in a league drowning in sleaze. I would love to see him go out with a ring.

Beats me. While I'm not a huge fan of the NBA like I am about college - the Association is in better shape now than it's been in several years IMHO.

And no it's not just because the Lakers lost.

Pretty good game tonight, JKidd had some tough shots and clutch free throws. The Spurs had 21 turnovers and Duncan was horrid from the free throw line, which should not suprise anyone. This isn't new, and I think it will be enough to keep the Nets in the series and they could very well pull it off. (I didn't just make this up after tonight's game, see my post from the 4th.)

I didn't think either team played particularly well. Now that the scene shifts to Jersey I think we'll see more up and down play. The Nets run alot better at home.

This is getting interesting.

How is the league drowning in sleaze?

Way too many Allen Iversons and far too few David Robinsons.

I hope you understand that in life David Robinsons are much more few and far between than Allen Iversons and the NBA is no exception. You can hold that against specific players, but no reason to hold that against the league and say it is drowning in sleaze.
