This guy has been absolutely dominant at his position. CB is typically not a position I focus on during a game but dialing in on him has been very entertaining.

Anyone else notice how good this guy is? He's my early vote for our POY and should be 1st teat All SBC.

I like Royce Hill , but let's be real here. A pick 6 does not mean he's NFL caliber

Best play I've ever seen him make. That says something.

He is for sure the best cornerback we've got.

Gagree

If we are talking Sunday's here , let's look at our PK & P first

All I have to say about Royce Hill is that I'm glad someone finally told him this isn't soccer, and he's allowed to use his hands and arms in defensing passes.

Every home game, on 3rd downs or whenever else the guys on the sideline turn around and start waving their arms at us... All I think is "I wish one of you would teach that move to the secondary".

He's a solid, four-year starter who appears to be playing with a bit more confidence this season. He's far from shut down and won't sniff the NFL...he's the kind of college cornerback you like as your number 2 opposite your actual shut down guy.

You are so negative

I think Royce has a shot at being a 6-7 round draft pick. I don't see any reason why he won't improve throughout the season with some good coaching. He seems to be a very skilled corner.

Why not North Texas? :thumbsu:

Sounds like Royce is figuring things out before our very eyes.

You were not. I'll agree the line did them no favors but when you've run step for step with a wr 30 yards down the field there just has to be something in you telling you to look back for the ball. It's happened over and over and over for the past 4 years.

Royce Hill is far from NFL material. He might be the best corner we have but our corners have not been dominant to say the least. Our possible NFL prospects are the following: Dunbar, Atterberry, Olen, and maybe Chancellor (if he continues to develop).

Great game Royce. Continue to play with confidence, look at the WR across from you and know you are better than him and you will continue to make fantastic plays.

Oh and ignore some of these posters that focus on the negative.

Is Zachary Orr too undersized? Because he is a heck of a player.

Royce had a great game Saturday. but...I don't understand how he is seen as a great player though. I guess if rarely turning around for the ball or tackling is what we want out of our d-backs, then I guess he's awesome. (bring on the minus's if you must)

Ahem... I believe you forgot someone:

. Hopefully. But i don't remember him defending a go route the entire game. Remember this was against a terrible team with QB that got himself yanked due to horrible play.

I agree, and think my intended message was not well conveyed.

I speculate if the interception never happened, this thread wouldn't exist. Based on my internet math, 1 INT = INFINITE NFL TALENT.
