I fear it may be worse than that. It appears possible he looked at what the Dodge debacle left him and thought this was a total reclamation project. As such he's plugging in less competitive players this year in the HOPES that they'll develop and we'll be better next year and beyond. Sounds good I theory but if true the let us all know and we won't drive 4 1/2 hours to watch the experiment.

I think anyone who has watched this team closely has questions regarding the QB position. That would be pretty standard after seeing the 3rd team QB get so much playing time over the announced 2nd team QB, and when actual game stats may tell a different story as to who should be getting the playing time. It's definitely a puzzle and smacks of a tad bit of favoritism. So be it...at this point my faith will remain in Coach mac and his staff to decided who and who should not be on the field and when. He's the pro...I'm not. The fan...no matter how much a fan or how close to the program...has no clue what goes into making these decisions and why. To claim it is all favoritism is just pretty wrong in my opinion. We were all told in the fall that McNulty looked good and at times the best of the three. So, I'll just watch and see how it develops. I trust Coach Mac makes decisions based on what he feels is best for the team and not due to any level of favoritism.

DT is our starter and will be back for the conference games...the ones that really count...if he is able. We'll all see where it goes from there. Keep the faith folks. This reconstruction project will take some time. Let's sit back, relax, enjoy the ride and be there for the team as they do all they can to improve week to week.
