I was searching for some preview reports of the upcoming UNT vs. TULSA and this video from the 2008 game came up. Watch it at your own risk:

Disgusting, right?

Here's the upside:

1) APOGEE STADIUM KICKS THE SHIT OUT OF FOUTS!!!! WOOOO!

2) Our defense is starting to ACTUALLY tackle!

3) Our defense is starting to play more AGGRESSIVELY!

4) You could tell the UNT players in that video had very little energy and excitement...we have ENERGY now!

5) The crowd is actually a FACTOR at Apogee

And, best of all...

6) We're not the "other" South Lake Carroll team anymore! :thumbsu:

We may not win this upcoming game against Tulsa. But there is no doubt that this program is heading in the right direction with the new stadium, new coaching staff, and new team. If we've seen this many fantastic improvements in the past few months, I can't wait to see what this coaching staff and team put together for us in the next few years!

GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!

Not sure how our stadium factors into the game this year since it is in Tulsa...

I'm here in Tulsa and I've ben walking around downtown, Utica Square, and the Cherry St. area. There are 2 teams in Tulsa. OU and Okie State. Even with a home game this afternoon, the Tulsa World Sports section features 3 Texans playing for OU that "haven't lived up to expectations" dominating the front page. The Tulsa game is a small article to the right of the OU article. I went to dinner last night with some business people that live here. They agreed-OU/OSU are the only team that matters here. Those people thought 15,000 would be about the attendance today.

There's lots to compare between Tulsa and NT.

Tulsa is a great city. I've enjoyed my very shourt time here.

GO MEAN GREEN. Beat Tulsa by 1/2 point.

Yeah, Apogee isn't a factor in this game obviously. I was just talking about the program moving in the right direction in general and that I hope we can have a MUCH better showing in this game against Tulsa than the 2008 showing in the video.

My apologies for not making that post very clear - it was a late night post sparked by frustration of past years. <_<
