Just received this in an e-mail:

The UNT Alumni Association's Collin County Chapter is excited to host a game watching party at Rudy's Bar-B-Q in Allen, TX for UNT's game against Tulsa! The game takes place on Saturday, October 1st at 6 p.m. (Central). We encourage all UNT alumni, family, friends and fans to come out and cheer on the Mean Green as they take on the Golden Hurricanes!

Join members of the Mean Green nation at Rudy's Bar-B-Q starting at 5:30 P.M. and don't forget to enter your name for giveaways and door prizes.

Comment from me:

(Kudos to UNT 90 Grad and others for getting the Collin County chapter going...and having these events. Hope you have a great turnout.) :)

what channel is showing the game? didn't see it on espn3

I purchased the Tulsa Golden Hurricane Internet feed of the game. If you can get to Tulsa for the game, do that and support the team. If you can't and Allen isn't too far for you, come join us. This will be our third watching party this season. Each one has been well attended by the Mean Green Faithful. Nothing like watching the game with fellow fans.

I'm still working on this week's drink specials.

Thanks for the kind words, SUMG.

I'm sure there is a reason and it very well may be our 5 year record under "another" coach, but why haven't either of our home games at Apogee Stadium (best stadium in the 'Belt and for televisng games, too) not made the SBC Television schedule?

Is Wright Waters still goo-goo eyed over his forecast of "the next Boise State" located over in Mobile, Alabama, or what?dry.gif

O God, please, please, please, please get us out of all this (clean wordage, of course)......................." Amen.
