Unlike UNTs season opener against Houston, the Apogee crowd did not dwindle as the game progressed. The crowd of 21,181 caused such a noise problem that it disrupted the Indiana offense.

The fans are so much closer to the action [than at Fouts Field]. Indiana had some false starts and illegal procedures that maybe, if we were playing over [at Fouts], wouldnt have happened, Thompson said.
