Thanks to the Mike Modano thread for the idea. I think we've even done something like this before, but of course it turned into, "you whippersnappers putting Patrick Cobbs in your Mt. Rushmore never saw Abner Haynes, so how would you know?", or, "Jordan Case over Scott Hall? Are you crazy?". Well, here's an idea:

You have 4 spots to add the best players across all sports DURING YOUR TIME AT UNT.

Put your graduation year, and list the top 4 players. Add a few "honorable mentions" if you'd like.

2005:I was on the 5 year plan

Brandon Kennedy - SBC Player of the decade. I can only imagine that his dominance on the D-Line was what Mean Joe's was like.

Chris Davis - This guy filled up the stat sheet night after night. He didn't have much help, but I witnessed several games where he kept us in it, if not won it, single-handedly.

Marilyn Marin - She dominated Sun Belt soccer from her freshman year on. I would wager that many of her records will take decades to break (if ever).

Patrick Cobbs - NT's All-time rushing record (for now) & NCAA rushing champ.

Honorable Mention:

Jalie Mitchell, Corina Marginas, Scott Hall, Johnny Quinn

You're stretching this old man's memory, but here's my stab at it . . .

Mitch Maher. That one's easy. Unquestionably the best Mean Green QB in the time I have followed NT football.

Jesse Ratliff. One of the all-time NT roundball greats.

Brad Kassall. I'm cheating a little bit--I think he began his eligibility my last semester at UNT. But he was one of the most dominant linebackers ever to stalk the NT defense.

Troy Redwine. Great WR. Of course, look at who he had throwing to him.
