Maybe we should just paint the bleachers and concrete green so that it isn't so obvious when the stands are empty? Would that require us to commit to a green color?

I don't know about painting the stands, but I would suggest painting arrows on the aisles, up on the right, down on the left. Foot traffic during the game is getting congested as people stop when the traffic comes head-to-head.

The mics refs were fine by the second half.

I just don't understand this: a simple sound check by the refs before kickoff would solve this.

George was the one who fixed the problem. In the booth, he told Steve Bartolotta that the problem was that they had the threshold on the noise gate set too low, so it was not allowing normal speech input to pass through. After that, the problem gradually improved.
