Marshall's AD Mike Hamrick was on the local radio last night and he talked a little about expansion. He feels CUSA will be fine and probably will not lose anybody, but if we did, it will be no more than two schools,

He went on to say if we lost a team from the east division his first replacement choice would be UNCC, then FIU, and another team which I did not catch the name. On the west side it was North Texas and UTSA.

As to LA Tech he basically said no comment.

I just don't see the Univ of Louisville being a factor in any Big 12 expansion.

Chuck Neinas was on ESPN Game Day radio this morning. They asked what he thought the Big XII's requirements would be for expansion and he stated:

1. They must be a in a good market.

2. Are reluctant to add another Texas school.

3. Must have a competitive football program.

They should just add BYU, Louisville, West Virginia and call it a day. That would be make them a better conference overall than they were a couple years ago, IMO
