If UNT can get into the MWC I'll kiss RV's feet!!! This would be great for UNT...especially in basketball and would give us a way to tell recruits that can play against top 25 competition IE Boise State!!! I think UNT would be on TV plenty...we'd just have to subscribe to a lot of west coast ESPN and other cable channels. With DVR's will see the game or be staying up late to do so!!!

I remember very well. That was my heyday... but the Belt has improved quite a bit since then. Can you say that we have? With a straight face?

We have improved our facilities at a rate/level greater than any other school in the conference (and really, equal to or better than most in the next rung up (CUSA/MWC). We've upgraded our football staff to tops in the league in both pay and reputation. Also, we've upgraded the pay level to a point that if we were selected by CUSA or MWC, we'd join those leagues smack dab in the middle to upper middle. We would not come in as bottom feeders. Based on the infrastructure that we've now built, the wins will come.

So, yeah, I can say with a straight face that we've improved. How can you not?
