I like all of the choices except Air Force. If they were independents then having all three service academies in the same conference would be a plus. However, I do like Army and Navy as FB only members.

East Carolina has earned their spurs and UCF is earning theirs and would be a good get to match South Florida.

I hope that they will choose Temple as the fifth member but I think that Memphis would be the better choice.

I think that Houston has better opportunities elsewhere as I don't believe that the Big East retains its AQ status.

which option would be best for us? I would say Houston off the bat but i think cusa would then add LA Tech, which doesn't help us. Or the answer is , if any of these teams move it has no effect on us?

In the current college football landscape, La Tech isn't going to be very attractive. No TV market, don't have great facilities, no recent or traditional football or basketball success. I don't think they will be at the top of the list for anyone's expansion. Not a bad school, just doesn't meet the latest $ requirements.

What is scary is to think that CUSA loses UCF, ECU, and Memphis, and then replaces them with MTSU, FIU, and Arkansas State. Then, you get an SBC that looks like this: North Texas, FAU, Troy, ULM, ULL, and South Alabama. If this occurred, it would the only way I would consider joining the WAC.

On ASU, please see my above post on La Tech. I just don't think that they have enough $ to offer.

If CUSA loses UCF, ECU and Memphis, is it still better that much better than the Belt? Don't give me "perception" as that doesn't pay TV contracts!
