Meh ... seems like it was writting by someone looking solely at stats and not watching the games.

Really? Seems right on the money to me...

Their QB will be lucky to be standing at the end of this game. We will take their passing game away and load the box with 8 on defense. We will win by 14+, mark my words and place your bets now.

I haven't seen anything that suggests we can put the corners in man coverage a majority of the time

I was impressed with Steven Ford against Alabama. They were obviously trying to attack what they thought was a weakness. He took a smart PI call (better a penalty than a TD), was assessed what looked like a pretty weak PI call (looked like good coverage to me), and broke up a couple passes that came his way. Not perfect, but remember that he is just now getting his first real playing time at the D1 level--he was knocked out for the season the first game of last year.

But where does this writer get the idea that our linebackers haven't been productive? Stojkovic was an absolute animal against Bama with 4 solo tackles/4 assists/1.5 for loss. Orr and Will Wright have done well, as has Phillips when healthy.
