CFL rules?

It's actually possible to score only one point in a game.

You get shut out, but during one of the opponent's try after a touchdown, you block the kick, recover it and start to return it. Just before you get to the end zone for the 2-point return, an opponent pulls a Beebe and strips the ball. The opponent recovers it, tries to run around and create something, and gets tackled in their end zone for a safety.

Since all scoring plays other than a touchdown during a try are worth one point, you get one point.

Ridiculous, but still possible.

Wish I could give you +100. That has to be THE most tired argument on this board.

When their coach started, he went 0-11 in his first season. Double digit losses every week but one, half of them by 4 TDs or more. They were an absolute embarrassment, inside and outside the Belt. They couldn't even put up a respectable game against anyone, much less seriously compete.

Until they ran into Todd Dodge in game 12 and picked up a win, of course.

Thanks for the perspective.

Looking forward, I couldn't help but notice they actually took a 2-game step back from year two (5 wins) to three (3).

I certainly hope that we don't take steps back, but it is worth noting that some administrations are sticking to their guns and not panicking when the "5 year plan" doesn't have a smooth curve.
