UNT Foundation dinner at Austin Ranch

Hello..

We got our RSVP in the mail yesterday and since this will be our first one i'm just curious what goes on and has it been pretty fun in the past? Casual western wear sounds fun and look forward to meeting some more North Texas fans. Thanks for any insight.

Got ours in the mail yesterday as well, and we'll be there. I have been to some of the formal President's Council and donor dinners/dances, but not any like this one at Austin Ranch listed as "western casual". But, that seems much more to my liking (although I don't have any western attire other than a pair of boots)than the tux things. So, I am guessing this will be lots of fun. We are driving our own car to the event and not taking them up on their offer of free bus service from Fouts as we may decide we need to leave before the bus does. Just sayin...... We have found these events to run the gauntlet from great to good to not so good. But, it's always fun to meet more members of the great Mean Green Nation who we don't often see at the athletic events. And, with this one being at Austin Ranch and "western casual" I am thinking it's going to be a lot of fun.
