Naaman Forest's Johnathon Miller:

Van's Jermie Calhoun:

No possible way to get Calhoun since he's a junior; will have to go FCS.

Miller is a third year sophomore. Would he sit out another year as a transfer at an FBS...like North Texas? He's already sat plenty at OU and collected bowl rings. Could he hang on until 2013, being satisfied to practice at beautiful Apogee Stadium during the 2012 season?

Oh, and the three players these guys were riding pine behind are from San Diego, CA, Lawton, OK, and Niceville, FL. I know there are some here who wonder if OU could survive without Texas in its conference.

Somehow, schools from all over the country survive without having Texas in their conference. SEC schools have claimed the last five national titles...all without being in a conference with Texas and without having to have a regular recruiting presence in Texas. Crazy, right?

Played against Miller in high school when he was a sophomore, he was a beast. But I have to wonder if he's worth it since he hasn't done much at OU. Then again, the OU transfers we have seem to have just been buried in their depth chart so maybe that's the case with Miller

The OU transfer we will have eligible next year (Trice) was not buried on the depth chart. He played as a sophmore DB in OU's Nickel and Dime packages as well as on special teams. Played as a true freshman in 2009 on special teams.

Word is he told on the coaching staff for having illegal practices (nooo, not at OU!) and was then persona non grata in the OU football program. A very talented kid who will make a huge impact at UNT.

Gotcha. Didn't do my research on that one. Upon further review Trice looks like a big time difference maker, very excited to see what he does next year.
