How'd Your Adopted Player Perform?

Mine?

Derek Thompson:

21 of 33 passing for 172 yards with 1 TD and 1 interception. One of his completion was a left hander by the way.

9 rushes for a net of 41 yards, 4.6 average.

Other than the poor decision on the interception, I thought Derek played well. I look for him to continue to improve and lead this team to 5 or 6 wins this year.

Andrew "Max" Power. The hardest working man on the team. Plays on every special teams package, blocks like an extra tackle, and scored on the prettiest redzone release route you've ever see.

He looks like a monster out there too.

Didn't see Chaz and he wasn't on the participation sheet. Hope to see him out there some as the season goes on.

My man Michael Outlaw was only outdone in number of receptions by Mr. Dunbar. He was outdone in total reception yards by player of the week, Brelan Chancellor. None the less, Michael hung in there with 4 receptions for 40 yards and a long of 16. I predict a breakout game coming up, but probably not this week.

Will Wright showed why he needs to be on the field. He only trailed Orr by one in total tackles and had two tackles for loss. The Real Deal Wright was around the ball any time he was on the field.

Nice job Will. Nice job.

Will Wright is a player, he really impressed me Saturday.

My man Big Country Abbe had 1 solo tackle.

#78, deep snapper, Troy Kokjohn, had a fine day...snaps were crisp with no problems for the punter or place holder AND he made a solo tackle down field on a punt that led to only a 2 yard return for Houston. When the Mean Green has a deep snapper with the talent and speed to be the first to the ball carrier on a punt play, that is a good thing indeed. Kudos to #78!
