Anyone else find it interesting that the tips of the "wingzone" are completely empty, but the rest of the stadium is packed?

We were saving space for Houston's band ;-). The view from the "tips" is actually pretty nice. It is just a long way up and down if you want something from concessions of have to use the restroom. Those were also probably in the sun the longest, so people squeezed lower in the section or simply stood along the lower bowl railing.

Has anyone come across an aerial photo from the opener? I saw multiple aircraft flying overhead during the game, so I'm hoping someone was up there taking pictures. Would like to eventually frame my ticket stub with a nice photo of the stadium on that day.

So you don't find it interesting that the seats the farthest away from the field weren't filled like the rest of the stadium? One of the biggest complaints about Fouts Field was the distance between the field and the seats in the stadium yet the stadium's "prominent" feature puts fans farther away from the field. That picture articulates one of the downfalls of Fouts and why that reason for problems with attendance won't carry over to Apogee Stadium, those few seats excluded.

Have you been up to those seats? I have and the view is pretty awesome. You feel like you are right on top of the field, not removed from it. The front row endzone seats in Fouts seem much farther away than these, so no, this picture does not articulate one of the downfalls of Fouts...and Apogee.

Yes, I took a tour of the stadium awhile back. Nobody is going to sit farther away from the field unless they have to and the empty plazas between the east and west stands would've not only made for a better view than the tips of the wings, but trap in some of that home field advantage noise from the crowd.
