Sorry if this was posted but I didn't see it anywhere. Looks like FIU is for real this season. Beat Louisville last night 24-17. Although it sounded like FIU lead most of the game, the review also made it sound like Louisville kept them contained but for a few big plays by T.Y. Hilton... whatever, a win is a win.. and this is a quality win for the Sunbelt.

Now its our turn to beat a Conference USA foe Houston today!!!!!!!!!

Go Mean Green!!

FIU continued to look impressive. Their defensive ends are monsters. I hope that the Mean Green can play with some great intensity today and make it a great game. I have a feeling they will, especially with the great crowd we are going to have. Can't wait!! Go Green

If FIU can keep this up.. talk about a rags to riches story... I remember a few years ago, they were like 30 consecutive loses or something like that... last season they won the conference and go to a bowl game (and win it), and now beat a BCS team... just goes to show what the right coach can do for a team.

I guess someone -1 me b/c I started a thread that had already been going on... sorry guys... didn't realize it when I posted...

FIU defense had a pick 6 and did a nice job containing the run. Speed is a nice-to-have, huh?

Louisville doesn't have a great run team but averaged about 2 yards per carry last night on 41 carries.

Did pass for 363 though, but was down the whole game and passed 45 times.
