To be honest, Carrier is probably our 2nd best WR behind Patrick Edwards.

Edwards was pretty quiet last week, though. UCLA put their best corner on him, and pressed him at the LOS all afternoon. It seemed like they game planned for Edwards, yet forgot all about Carrier, because he was running wild.

Don't know much about this guy other than he put up big numbers last week. Is he a stud or just product of the system?

TY may be a better pro prospect because he's a couple inches taller and about 15 pounds heavier. But as a fit into the UH offense, he is amazing. Keenum has the ability to hit him going full speed and there are few in college football that can match that speed. He is a UH track guy after all. He also has 6 KRs for TDs, 1 short of the record.

What may be a bigger problem for UNT is that UH has 2 starting WRs in that category. Patrick Edwards is also a burner who has more career receiving yards than Carrier. He was almost shut down last week by one of UCLA's DBs who is a legit pro prospect, so Keenum threw it to the open guy, Carrier. Edwards has multiple games of 150+ yards receiving and is an awesome punt returner. He is probably most known though for the horrible injury he suffered his freshman year. Edwards Injury Video WARNING! This is VERY graphic. I hadn't watched that in a couple of years. I still get sick watching it even though I know he's better now.

Both Carrier and Edwards have over 2600 yards receiving in their career, so even if it is the system, they're very good in the system. They're really yards after catch receivers. Get them the ball 5-10 yards down field in stride, and they're threats to take it all the way with their speed.
