I think this would be a great model to follow. Plus it makes every game count.

What makes it interesting is that we would be able to earn our way to the upper division of the Southern Conference.

What I don't understand is why those eggheads at the WSJ puts Boise in the lower division of the Pacific Conference but puts San Diego State in the upper.

I love promotion and relegation as a fan of soccer. But I don't think it will ever come to major U.S. sports. The haves will never agree to a system that might make them have-nots.

The super and sub groups are set by football revenues in 2009 - top 16 revenues are in the super group, all others in the sub group.
