I agree...but I don't think Mac is readying for a big '12 with his rhetoric and a stadium opening looming. I think Lemon and Y'Barbo are as good as it gets this season.

It's very possible they are the best we have this year.... If thats the case run God help us.

All of our offseason hopes were pumped up with green koolaid. Deep down, we all knew beating FIU was going to be damn near impossible. Lets just look for improvement week to week and cross our fingers for 4 wins.

QB and WR were the difference. FIU had a QB with SEC experience as a FR. and a stud WR who catches balls.

We had a RSFr with <20 snaps and WR's who could not catch balls not hitting them in the numbers with the exception of Chancellor

Good luck to you guys and your team. We FIU fans know first hand what it's like to start over but if you get the right guy (like Coach Cristobal), then it will be worth it in the end. I hope those that made it have at least enjoyed your stay in Miami and enjoyed your visit to FIU. Go Panthers!

That's because, and it's my main frustration with this game, the zone/read is most effective when you have a running threat at QB. That's not Thompson.

Everyone seems so enamored with a big tall QB here, but seems ignorant of the fact that the offense clicked last season with Dodge and Baine at the helm.

BINGO. This is a big part of the problem.
