This is exciting. I'm glad we're finally going to have something that connects the two sides of the university. They're currently adding fencing to the North Texas Blvd bridge to make it safer for pedestrians... not the most attractive fix I've ever seen.

Dig.

More bridge talk!!!

What's with you and bridges??

Needs more SOW

I agree. If they don't put SOW on the side of the bridge I'm gonna be pissed. Hayden Fry had four bridges with the flying worm back in his day!!!!

I've been wondering, and I'll preface this by saying that I know pretty much nothing about the science of construction, how are they going to build this bridge before the expansion of 35?

@ $3.5 mil to build, I think this thing better adjust automatically and serve tea and cake on the way.

Might need air conditioning and a roller press designed for $100 bills just to get students to use it.

Wow. 118 yards long. A windmill powered moving sidewalk would be a nice addition. As would built-in HDTV's, climate control, and a park situation at both ends with live music and such on game days. We could sell advertising to pay for it all.

The negative is that we're waiting on money from government. Hopefully that won't hold things ups.

And since we're about to start winning games, it won't be referred to as "bridge to nowhere"

The only thing better to connect 2 sides of a highway is a park...
