WOW...great stuff. Every time I hear that guy speak, I am more and more convinced that RV hired the right guy at the right time for UNT.

If they have not made a shirt like that they need to jump on it now. And who cares if another school did it.

I'd be happy to do it if we just want a simple design and have it made locally.

Should the punctuation at the end be a question mark or an exclamation mark?.... I say "WHY NOT NORTH TEXAS!" should end in an exclamation mark as we are trying to make a statement rather than ask a question.

I have never liked anything that conveys any hint of doubt about the legitimacy of my school, or it's potential fan-worthiness. To me, the question/statement "Why Not North Texas" looks like the wearer of the shirt has doubts about North Texas............ and is trying to convince themselves as much as anyone else.

Fan shirts should convey your commitment/loyalty and nothing else....in simple, bold, terms.

NORTH TEXAS and MEAN GREEN should be enough for any shirt.

Agree, an exclamation mark would make more of a statement. That would erase the doubt.

So how would you feel about my t-shirt that would say "North Texas this time we MEAN it!

I always liked George Dunham's "Do you believe in the Mean Green!" quote that he said after we beat Texas Tech in the late 90s. This drop is still played on the Ticket from time to time. I think "Why not North Texas!" is a little trite.

Really excited about the Mean Green. First year season ticket holder.

If you must have a wordy shirt, then I would suggest "NORTH TEXAS, we ALWAYS MEAN IT.

Or, NORTH TEXAS....NONE MEANER!

Based on our results the past 4-5 years, I think we should go with your original suggestion, simply NORTH TEXAS or MEAN GREEN.
