He still has his twitter set up as "Head Coach of of North Texas Football"

hasn't tweeted since the last home game against K STATE.

In another thread the subject was brought up Marketing 101 of the Mean Green Football Program.

What do the above remarks say to possible new fan to the Mean Green Nation. Remember this might be the first video that they have seen of Coach Canales.

What message are you tring to send.

Hey I am new to Mean Green Football. This is my first Fall following the Mean Green. Do some of you think there is problems inside the coaching staff. That is what your posts tell me. #2 in command has a problem because his personality has changed.

I am not buying this line but some readers might.

So because coach Chico isn't turning cartwheels and backflips in every interview it means Vito has made him regret staying on the staff as offensive coordinator? Sure..... I'll buy it.

People should also consider that this appears to be taken right after a very hot practice.

It's been hot for a long, long time.

Gosh, good point. I kinda wondered about that, and now I'm kinda wondering why some people find it so hard to overlook the obvious. Now I'm going back to give you that +1.

Probably because some of us find dwelling on the obvious incredibly dull. B)

Maybe he had also just had an early morning job?

Maybe he'd played catch at practice and hurt his hand?

Maybe he'd driven up on a curb that morning and bent a rim?

Maybe the fan in his office was broken that morning and wouldn't blow?

Maybe he had a rock in one of his shoes which was hurting his foot?

Its got to be one of them.

      The Band

      I personally think that the playing music over the PA at times when the band would typically be playing has negatively impacted the cadence for when and how the band plays during the games. I don't want to be all old man about it, but if I want to listen to the stuff that is played on the PA system (majority of which I actually do like), I have about 10 different devices I can play that on myself. When I go to a college football game, I want to hear the friggin' band play during timeouts and between plays, when appropriate. It's college football, not an NBA game. When I look back at attending games at Fouts as a student in the 90s', I absolutely remember the band playing, and I enjoyed it then just as I do now. If they were playing other music, maybe they were, but I would have no memory of that whatsoever. Additionally, I know there has been some other negative thoughts about the band overall, and not that I have been in band since I played trumpet as a sophomore in high school so I am no expert, but I was absolutely blown away by the halftime performance this week. I know majority of it was a rehash of other bits and pieces that had already been done this year, but damn that was a strong close.
