This is fan excerpt from a Dallas Business Journal Article back in January:

UNT’s athletic department tapped Los Angeles-based Premier Partnerships in September to aid the stadium in selling sponsorships and founding partnerships, including the stadium’s naming rights.

Mean Green stadium’s naming rights could bring in $10 million over a 20-year contract, said John Alper, the Dallas-based vice president of Premier Partnerships.

Alper’s goal is to secure a naming-rights sponsor prior to the fall football season’s kickoff on Sept. 10.

The stadium’s naming rights will likely be secured by a regional company interested in the high-visibility location at the merging of Interstate 35E and Interstate 35W, with an estimated 180,000 passing vehicles daily, Alper said.

“The location is very powerful,” Alper said. “There’s not as many stadiums that sit at such a high-exposure intersection. I can’t think of one in this region.”
