Here is a list of major companies that are headquartered in the region:

Exxon Mobil

AMR(American Airlines parent)

Electronic Data Systems

JC Penny

DR Horton

Kimberly-Clark

Texas Instruments

Burlington Northern Santa Fe

Centex

Dean Foods

Commercial Metals

TXU

Tenet Healthcare

Southwest Airlines

Atmos

Triad Hospitals

Affiliated Computer Services

Some other possibilities include:

Peterbuilt

Even with this list its not even .1% of the number of very big companies out there that could get the naming rights of the stadium.

Cuban-HD Net Stadium has a nice ring to it. Cuban loves football, and $10,000,000 is nothing to the man. Maybe HD Net would broadcast our games not picked up by ESPN. FBS football is more high profile then Cuban's professional league.

Cuban could do for North Texas what Ted Turner did for the Braves.

I had heard rumors that stadium making rights were the works but didn't post about it. I think at the time things were still being finalized so it didn't seem appropriate.

I heard about it even before you did but did not post about it either.

Could the Mean Green Network be far behind? And, more importantly, will the MGN be the undoing of the SBC?

Only time will tell.

Looks like we now have naming rights for the:

Stadium $20,000,000

Practice Fields $1,000,000

Large Team Meeting Room $100,000

West Entrance Gate $1,000,000

Training and Rehabilitation Center $500,000

The stadium will be revealed tomorrow. The practice fields are named for DD. Do we know who the sponsors are on the last three?

I think the Training Room is sponsored by Texas Health/Denton Presby.

Sack N Save Stadium???

+1

I love all the speculation but lets remember our speculating over the new coach. In that case, we had a lot better handle on things than this one and still no one got it right. Lets just wait for tomorrow and continue talking about the jerseys.

Just my .02 worth...

I heard that a group of businessmen had gotten together and formed a group to raise money to name the stadium-

MEAN JOE GREENE STADIUM.

Worth what it cost ya.
