I am frightened and confused by the thought of using twitter as a credible source of information...

Message boards(such as this one) are obviously much more credible. so, yeah naming rights.

The news just keeps getting better and better for UNT. Congratulations to RV and company for getting this done in time for the opening game on Sept. 10th. Cannot wait for the news to be official!

Also...an early THANK YOU shout out to the company or individual providing this help to UNT! Thanks so very much from a grateful member of the great Mean Green nation!

Good things are continuing to happen for UNT these days...GO MEAN MREEN!

I had heard rumors that stadium making rights were the works but didn't post about it. I think at the time things were still being finalized so it didn't seem appropriate.

This is just another incredible piece of information for a football program that not long ago was dying on the branch.

My only concern is the opening bid of 10 million for 20 years set by Premier Partnerships.

I hope our reprensentives negociated a better deal but if not at least one that leaves room for re-negociating the contract at certain intervals based on attendance, population growth and conference affliation.

Regardless, what a tremendous job by our people.

It does just keep getting better and we are only at the tip of the iceburg.

Go Mean Green!!!

Not only is the deal itself momentous, but we're just days away from finding out we have a brand new set of sports sponsorship management experts as well. Pretty talented group if you ask me.

I'm hoping for Southwest Airlines... it soudns like that would be the best thing if they decide to do giveaways or random competitions for free tickets

When RV hired Dan McCarney he said it was time for UNT football to grow up. I'm so glad this is happening not only on the field off it as well. I love that we appear to be gearing up to run our entire athletics program the right way.

I also believe that the CMO for Southwest is a UNT grad.
