I caught up with Dan McCarney and his defensive tackles Richard Abbe and Tevinn Cantly today to talk about how both of those guys have lost a ton of weight this off-season.

Both guys changed their approach over the last few months, started eating better and working more on conditioning.

My guess if we were teeing it up tomorrow night in Miami: Abbe and Cantly starting, Terrell Brooks and Kyle White running second, Boutwell or McCoy as the pass rush specialists (nickel or dime stuff). If Cantly really turns the corner he could be special. I also believe Terrell Brooks is going to be outstanding,

Don't forget about big Micah Thompson either... He's going to be a monster as he develops. I heard he was something like 6'4" or 6'5" and 305+ and reports from Oklahoma all-star games were that he could move well.

In regards to this topic, it just sounds like he may take a little longer than Brooks to develop and see game action as a True Freshman.

Thompson was who I was most interested in seeing. I am wondering how things are going for him. Have we heard anything about him?
