I like them because they are the jerseys the Mean Green will be wearing. I also think everyone will like them once they see them on the field come game day. They will also look really great on the player crossing the goal line with the winning score!

Just give it a chance, wait and see them "live and in person", and then make an informed decision. As I seem to recall, the uniform is the head coach's decision, not the AD's.

Patience my fellow Mean greeners...patice...see what you think on the players in full gear on game days.

For me, I like...the fans at Alabama don't seem to have many challenges with the uniforms the Tide wear...I am thinking the Mean green faithful will come to like these as well.

take off the shoulder numbers and it's Alabama's uniform. Don't see a problem with them so far.

Except for the fact that thats alabama who has had the smae unifrom for years. And their helmet has a stripe, and is painted not stickered. Its not terrible, just could be better.

I like this jersey. Anything that takes us away from the Under Armor/high school look is great with me.

The great thing about the Bama, OUs, and Texas' (for all of their Darth Vader/Empire-type faults) is that they don't change their uniforms every few years.

The new jerseys with unnecessary striping and piping and weird surfaces blow.

I like a straightforward jersey to go with a hard-nosed team. We had that in the early 2000s. Here's to hoping we're on our way to matching and surpassing those days with our normal ass jerseys!

The old jerseys didn't have a high school look. They just looked like a certain high school.

Now we have the same jerseys that hundreds if not thousands of high schools all over the country have.

I was expecting something plain, but it doesn't get more plain than that. Hoping it will look better with the full uniform on the guys.

Assuming we will wear solid white pants, with possibly solid green as an alternate. But, the more I look at it, the more disappointed I am that we didn't get something better.

Exactly!!!!! This is very similar to what Big Joe wore in the 60's.
